What still applies
- Route limits. Some coins have a maximum per swap on a given route. The swap box shows the range before you create anything.
- Screening. Both addresses are checked before a deposit address exists, and every deposit is screened against sanctions lists and known stolen funds.
- Rate movement. A big amount on a slow chain spends longer in transit. A fixed rate locks the amount if you send inside its window.
Tips for a smooth large swap
- Send from a wallet you control, not straight from an exchange withdrawal that may be delayed.
- Use a fresh receiving address and double check the network.
- Pay a normal network fee so your deposit confirms on time, especially on Bitcoin.
