Frequently asked questions
What people ask before their first swap.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign up, no email and no password. When you start a swap you get a private link to follow it. Save it, or follow the swap in our Telegram bot.
Do you hold my coins?
No. Each swap gets a one time deposit address, and the new coins are sent straight to the wallet address you give. We never keep a balance for you.
How is the rate set?
The rate is live and comes from the market at the moment you look. The amount shown is what reaches your wallet after all fees. Next to it you see the open market price, so the difference is never hidden.
What does it cost?
Nothing on top. Our fee and the network fee are already inside the amount you see. What you see is what you get.
Fixed or floating rate?
Floating gives the amount at the moment your deposit confirms, which is usually a little better. Fixed locks the amount you see if you send within the time window, for a small premium.
How long does a swap take?
Most swaps finish within 5 to 30 minutes. The time depends mostly on how fast the coin you send gets its confirmations. Bitcoin is slower than Tron or Solana, for example.
Why would a swap be held?
Every deposit is screened against sanctions lists and known stolen funds. If a deposit is flagged it may need a short check before it is released or refunded. Write to us with your swap ID and we keep you updated.
Why do large swaps wait for review?
Swaps of $5,000 or more are checked by a person before a deposit address is created. Nothing has been sent at that point, so there is no risk to you. Most reviews take minutes.
I want to swap $100,000 or more
Use our private desk. Message @SwapPrivateBot before you send. You get a price better than the public rate and one person who handles your swap from start to finish.
What if I send the wrong amount?
On a floating rate swap the amount that arrives is used. On a fixed rate swap a different amount turns it into a floating swap or a refund. Amounts below the minimum are refunded minus the network fee.
Do you keep logs?
No. Our web server records nothing about visits, and swaps are never stored with an IP address. There are no cookies, analytics or trackers on the site.
Can I delete my swap?
Yes. Once a swap has ended, its page has an Erase now button. The record and both addresses are deleted on the spot and overwritten on disk. Otherwise it is erased automatically after 30 days.
What data do you keep?
Only what the swap needs: the coins, the amounts, the addresses and the swap reference. No name, no email, no IP address. The record is deleted 30 days after the swap ends, or right away if you press Erase now.
